We are pleased that you’re considering Cardinal McCarrick High School. A student applying to Cardinal McCarrick is evaluated on traditional criteria, i.e., the strength of his/her academic preparation, school grades, and a placement test.
Application Procedure for Grade 9:
The Diocese of Metuchen High School Entrance/Placement Test for Cardinal McCarrick High School will be administered at Cardinal McCarrick High School on Saturday November 14, 2009. The cost of the test id $40.00. Catholic elementary school students in the Diocese of Metuchen will receive applications to diocesan schools from their principals. Others interested 8th grade students should contact the school for an application or additional informations about the entrance/placement test.
Transfer into Grades 10 or 11:
Transfer students entering grades 10 and 11 will be considered. Please bring a complete transcript of grades (including final report card of the most recent year), attendance/discipline report, and any supporting documents (letters of recommendation). Most transfers take place during the summer.
Registration:
Once a student is accepted into Cardinal McCarrick High School, a completion of a Registration Form is required. Please call the Director of Admissions office at 732-721-7048 x244 or contact us if you have any questions.
