The Annual Fund Drive is a yearly drive that helps support the educational success of our students who attend Cardinal McCarrick/St. Mary’s High School. Every year we reach out and ask for charitable support and prayers from our current parents, grandparents, trustees, alumni and friends to help give the difference between the cost of tuition and the cost of educating our young people. This appeal is vital to maintaining the academic enhancements needed to provide a quality education at CMHS/SMHS. Every dollar contributed to the Annual Fund Drive has helped a student achieve and thrive here at CMHS/SMHS. Your support will pave the way for future generations of CMHS/SMHS students. No matter how big or small, every gift is valued, needed, appreciated and in most cases tax-deductible.
Matching Gifts
Matching gift programs are a great way to enhance your contribution. Many companies match employee contributions to charitable causes. A dollar-for-dollar match is common, but some companies donate $2 or more for every dollar an employee contributes. The human resource office at your workplace can give you the employer’s policy. Please be sure to complete the form and send it with your contribution.
Planned Giving
Planned Giving benefits both the donor and CMHS. By enabling donors to make larger gifts than they thought possible and through careful investment of planned giving proceeds, CMHS benefits by receiving funds with an enhanced value. Donors benefit by receiving charitable income tax deductions, eliminate tax on capital gains and reduce federal estate taxes.
